About Me
I'm a literary agent specializing in adult nonfiction that tells great stories—from serious history and memoir to pop science and parenting.
I'm drawn to projects that live at unexpected intersections of audiences, topics, and styles, and to books that push me to ask bigger and better questions about the world. I especially love working with journalists and researchers whose knack for communicating discoveries with the public has already gained them an eager mainstream following.
Before joining Ross Yoon, I studied English at Smith College (BA), and University College London (MA), and spent two years in South Korea on a Fulbright fellowship. I also ran an editorial consulting firm, where I worked on projects from memoirs and mysteries to women's fiction, thrillers, and translations.
In my time off, I have a soft spot for sprawling fantasy novels, adaptations of Shakespeare, obsessively researched podcasts, New Haven pizza, and terrible puns. I live in Washington, DC, with my husband and two rascally children, and on Twitter at @darakaye.
